I Heart Shopaholic

I have finally watched the much awaited Confessions of a Shopaholic and I LOVED IT! Sure, lots were changed from the book but hey the movie was entertaining and so funny. My mom and I laughed our heads off through out the movie. The clothes, shoes and bags were as expected.... GORGEOUS! I drooled and sighed at the many beautiful stilettos and dresses but cringe and shudder whenever Becky received calls from Derek Smeath. Eeeeks! What a creepy looking guy. Luke Brandon, on the other hand, is a heaththrob, doncha think?

So like many (millions) other Sophie Kinsella's fans, I've read all of her books and even some of which she wrote under the name Madeleine Wickham. I loved all of the Kinsella books however her Wickham books were mostly bland. Hmmm I wonder why.

When my mom and I watched the movie tadi, it was the first show for the day. I just love watching movies during working days. The cinema will be quiet. There will be no queue and the washrooms will be squeaky clean. I memang sangguplah ambik cuti just to watch movies. Have been doing this for years. Ambik cuti and tengok movie sorang2. I really don't mind catching a movie alone because this means that I can cry my eyes out or watch some real silly romantic comedies without Daddy teasing me :p

Eh my two girls are asleep already. Just a few minutes ago they were up and about and now they are both tucked under the comforter on my bed. I think I wanna join them. It's back at work tomorrow and I need my rest. Very sleepy. Goodnite all, sweet dreams ya.

Earth Hour

It's Earth Hour and I'm doing all I can to support this noble cause. Can't go pitch black at home cos my two darlings will be terrified but I have switched off most lights. Only 2 are switched on right now.

Besides turning off non-essential lights at home, I've also done my bit to promote Earth Hour in the office. Throughout these past 2 weeks, whenever my colleagues switch on their computers in the morning, they will see a pop-up message which mostly consists of tips on energy-saving as well as reminders to "go green" - recycle, recycle, recycle! From this internal campaign, I learnt that energy saving bulbs can last up to 10 times more than the normal bulbs and using screen savers on your computers actually consumes more energy. So everyone, turn off your computer or at least the monitor whenever it is not in use.

Ooooh today I did something which I have never done before - shopped online! I know I am sooooooo outdated. I have never felt comfortable buying through the net but today I did it! I've overcame my fear! Hurray! Hey, just realised - shopping online also helps in saving the environment. Less driving, less smoke!

Alright people. Have a great Earth Hour. I see that a number of couples planned for romantic candlelight dinner. Very creative! I like!

Vietnamese Lunch

Went Vietnamese for lunch today - at Bong Sen KLCC. Food was ok but the wait was soooooo long. Definitely not coming back on a Friday. Too busy. Probably better service during other weekdays.

Zee's lunch. Some cold dish. She didn't really like it.


Mine - beef ball egg noodle. The serving was just nice for me. I like!

Update on Baby Maira - phew, she has totally recovered :) She's all bouncy and happy like usual and I'm so so glad. It's really hard when the kids are sick. I can't stand the worrying part. What I'm gonna do is, I'm gonna keep on breastfeeding Maira cos I know this could help prevent her from falling sick.

Owh... am so sleepy already...*big yawn*.. I'd better join Maira who is tucked in bed gleefully. Audrene, of course, is at her grandparents and Daddy's not back yet. I foresee a very busy weekend for me. Lotsa stuff to settle eg kenduri, taylor, cobbler, shopping (for essentials only), entertaining the girls, masak (ayo), laundry (hate this), etc, etc.

Meeting Friends

Took Audrene out for dinner with some friends last night. They brought their kiddos too and hmmm they were mostly girls. So apa lagi, of course Audrene tersangat seronok. Play, play and play!

We went to Marche at The Curve. I didn't eat that much. It's buffet night every Tuesday but last night was their last buffet. Like always, the food were good but I was too busy chatting that I forgot all about food.

Immediate bonding with my old old friend Ja's daughter - Aafreen. Ja, btw, is my friend who named Audrene. She just had her 3rd baby and she named her Adelea... macam Audrene (Audrene's full name is Audrene Adelia).



Didn't bring Maira cos she was not well. Actually she's still sick right now. Brought her to the dr's again today. Hopefully she'll be ok in a day or 2. Sian dia :(
