I don't like....
1. People who don't send their cars for regular service and careless in refueling their cars. They can cause a major traffic congestion if their car rosak tengah jalan. 3. Timun.
4. Tikus.
5. One of my ex-bosses. Don't even get me started on why.

7. Scary movies. Ini memang I teramat tak suka.
8. A.s.t.r.o.C.e.r.i.a.
9. Most of the radio deejays. Are they out of ideas already? Enough of the gender jokes and banters. Soooo old and lame AND silly.
10. Waking up in the morning on weekdays.
11. Kedekut ice cream scoopers. Do not go to N.Z. IceCream at Desa Parkcity. Not only that they serve tiny scoops, melted too. Grrr...
12. Folding clothes. I have a HUGE pile in my guest room right now. Sigh.
13. 'Friends' who only look for you when they need something.
14. Wearing glasses.
15. Feeling hungry all the time.
16. Speaking in public. But I have to, it's part of my job.
17. People who give me a kesian look because I have 2 girls (and no boys). What the??? Please, please, puh-leeeaaze buzz off.

Catching Up Saturday
I've been wayyy too busy with the kids lately that I haven't been reading and watching tv. So today, since Audrene's at her weekend getaway (my parents' home, seperti biasa) I am doing a zillion things at one time. Right now alone, I am typing this post while reading Sheila O'Flanagan's Bad Behaviour (a book that I bought 2 months ago) and flipping through January's In Style (yes, I have 3 hands.. heheh). At the same time, I am watching What About Brian on 711 and enjoying my large pack of Chachos alone... Heaven!
Baby Maira is within my eye sight, shrieking and trying to sit. Alamak.. dia dah start nangis dah.. Nak dukung la tu. Adoii!
Ok, multi-tasking's over. Have to dukung Adik :p

Milkmaid Tea
Penatnya!! Just came back from The Curve. Kendong-ed Baby Maira and half-way through realised that I carried her all wrong. Sakit pinggang weh.
Went to MPH and bought 2 books - High Noon by Nora Roberts and Shoe Addicts Annonymous by Beth Harbison. No idea when I'll be reading them. Don't seem to have extra time for books lately. Too much TV and the internet. As usual, my mom will read the books first. If they're good, she'll recommend. If not, simpan sajalah.
Baby Maira is now 6 months and yesterday she had her jabs. Next jab will be when she turns 1. Yay! Milestone @ 6 months is - I am back to my pre-pregnancy size (Mummy's milestone.. :p)! Long-live breastfeeding! Hehe! However, of late, I've been really lazy and careless in expressing and storing milk for Baby Maira. As the production is based on demand, my supply decreased dramatically until a week back I was nearly out-of-stock. Tinggal 2 bottles in the freezer! I panicked and immediately bought the miracle milkmaid tea. I remember when I drank it during Audrene's time, it did wonders and I managed to breastfeed Audrene until she was 2 1/2years old. As expected, after taking 2 mugs, the tea worked its miracle and now I am out of bottles. Hurray!
Ooops, nearly bedtime already. Need to do my usual - bottles, kids' clothes for nursery, Audrene's stuff for school, etc.. etc.. Good night!

2 Movies & A Musical
Awww.. 3-day weekend's over and it is back to work today. Time sure flies when you're having fun, eh? I was pretty busy last weekend. Watched movies that I've been wanting to watch, and went to a musical too.
Revolutionary Road was one of the movies I watched last weekend. An emotionally powerful movie with dialogues you couldn't miss, this movie was also nerve-wrecking and ugly. It was about a couple - played by Leo and Kate Winslet - who were struggling with their marriage. He was stuck with a job he hated and she desperately needed a change. The script was very well-written, and along with brilliant acting, the movie left me feeling somewhat depressed. However, having said that, I would recommend this movie in a heartbeat. Go watch it, people.
The other great movie that I saw this weekend was Changeling. It is a true story about a single mom who lost her son. After 5 months, a boy was returned to her but to her dismay, the boy was not her son. As it is a true story, at times this movie could be very difficult to watch. Tak sanggup. Changeling also left me feeling depressed and sad. Hmmm, just realised - 2 movies and both depressing. And the musical I watched was a sad love story too!
I've been wanting to watch this musical ever since its debut but never managed to get the tickets. So on Sunday my hubby and I finally went to catch the show. Probably my expectation was so high that I thought the show was just good. It was not fantastic, but it was good and I would still recommend to all. The effects and props were great (ada magic trick!). So was the choreography. The script and songs were beautiful too. What went wrong was the acting by the lead actor. Why la a mat saleh to play Hang Tuah? Tak kena lah, and because of that, didn't matter how great Tiara was, the whole show didn't touch my heart. But one thing for sure, I left Istana Budaya with a little crush on the Sultan. Hehe. Not only that he could act, he could sing and dance too. Very well pulak tu. Definitely the best actor lah in the musical. And I can't believe I am going to say this - AC Mizal was also good. I felt terrified of the character he played - Adipati the King.
So that was PGL. I personally like P. Ramlee The Musical more but PGL was also a good show. A must-see despite of the keras-acting by the lead actor. Well, who else nak support Malaysian products if not us, kan?
1 day down, another 3 days to go till the next weekend. This weekend we'll be bringing Baby Maira for her jabs and hmmm probably another baking session? We'll see lah. I did try to bake a chocolate cake but elk.. hard as rock. My mom said she'll come over for my next baking attemp to supervise. I know I am sad but at least I'm trying :p
Alright everyone. Have a great week!

Disney Show
Yay! Audrene and I are going to this show! We have been waiting for this show for quite some time and finally it will be here next month.. hurray! Though Audrene might not have any idea where I am taking her, I bet she will be thrilled because she LOVES the princesses, especially Aurora and Ariel. She sings like Ariel. She dances like Aurora. She dresses like Belle. And she sleeps like Snow White. When she was smaller, we wanted her to eat and she replied but Cinderella doesn't eat. So she was on diet like Cinderella :p
We did take her to a Disney On Ice show last year but the princesses were not there. There were Lilo & Stitch, Peter Pan, 101 Dalmations, Lion King and many more. She enjoyed the show tremendously and had fun buying the merchandise but when I asked her a few days ago if she remembered going to the show, she said no. Tak ingat dah.
So I had a good week but am still very very happy that it's already the weekend. Long weekend pulak tu. I am going to catch PGL the Musical on Sunday (finally!!) and hope to catch up with some reading. That's all. Got to go cos Audrene is wrestling the laptop from me. TTFN ;)

Bloghopping
It's FT Day yesterday so this means that I get a day off work today. After sending Audrene to school (late as usual.. went out and realised that I left her school bag..I think I am actually 65 years old and not 33) and Baby Maira to the nursery (can't take care of her today cos I'm sick), I went for nasi lemak and right after to the neighbourhood shoplots looking for a reflexology treatment. To kill time before having to fetch Audrene from school. There are at least 5 reflexology centres there and none are open. It was about 10.30am then. There was one centre which says that there's a 50% discount for all early birds - from 10am to 3pm - but the centre opens at 11am. Unbelievable.
Feeling frustrated, I went home and decided to bloghop. I stumbled upon this blog which I think belongs to my friend's sister. Great posts, a very good writer indeed. And from there I clicked on the links and found out that one of her blogger friends has passed away last year. I then read the posts that her friends wrote on her passing and I couldn't help but to cry. They were all so sad. The late blogger was a mommy and she loved Shopaholic too, just like me. She wrote so fondly about her kids and family, and how happy she was loving all of them. Reading her posts makes me realise that I have taken so many things for granted in my life. I have so many complaints and so little gratitute. I must change!
I also read a post by a mommy that wished she could give more for her kids. I don't know what she does but she said that she doesn't earn much hence couldn't afford to send her kids to all the dancing, piano, art, taekwando classes. I also read one post by another mommy complaining that the price of food at this popular restaurant is expensive that she couldn't take her kids there more than once a month. Wow. Now I am really thankful for my job cos it gives my kids a really comfortable life. They can go to any classes that they want, they can buy whatever toys that they fancy and they can eat whatever their hearts desire (tho Baby Maira prefers breastmilk only). I sometimes (or probably always) complain about work so from today onwards that is not going to happen again. I am going to make sure my new job is going to work out for me, bad traffic and all.
So that's my day so far. Audrene is at home, playing alone in her playroom. The cleaners are in too, ironing clothes and scrubbing my kitchen (I cooked yesterday and left a horribly greasy mess which I lazily biarkan knowing that the cleaners will be coming today). Later I will bring Audrene to my parents' home because I really need that massage session. The fever I'm having makes my body aches everywhere.
Oooops it's past 3pm and I have totally forgotten to express milk for Baby Maira. Way to go, Mummy, first it's Audrens's education and now it's Maira's food. See... Told ya I'm 65.
Gtg. Have a great week everyone.
